IMAGO DEI RECEIVES FACADE GRANT FROM DOWNTOWN TUCSON PARTNERSHIP

Written by NParker on April 4th, 2011

Well, it’s official! This spring, Imago Dei will be moving just a few blocks down the street to 55 N. 6th Avenue, the old Sears Building in the heart of historic downtown Tucson! We are so thrilled about the move, which will afford our students considerably more space to live, learn, and play. Our new location will also broaden the experiences of all Imago Dei students, as they will now be just steps away from all of the cultural, historical, artistic, and educational opportunities that the downtown area has to offer. In order to beautify the space, Imago Dei applied for a Façade Grant from the Downtown Tucson Partnership. Michael Keith, CEO of the Downtown Tucson Partnership, announced that Imago Dei is a recipient of this $5,000 matching grant! The funds will be used to paint the façade of the building and improve the neighborhood and our new school home. Check out this article to learn more, and stop by to visit our new school home!
